Survivor-driven change, led locally.

Many Hopes partners with locally led organizations in Africa and Latin America to support children who have survived slavery, trafficking, sexual abuse, abandonment, and extreme vulnerability.

Its work begins with safety. It continues through care, education, mentoring, and the transition into university, employment, or entrepreneurship—so that young people have the freedom and resources to determine what comes next.

Why Many Hopes Is Here

Two of my closest friends have been part of Many Hopes for more than twelve years. Through them, I came to understand an organization that thinks beyond immediate intervention: one that believes lasting change must be locally led, and that children who survive injustice should have access not only to safety, but to education, opportunity, influence, and choice. Meraki & Hodo created this page for one reason: to direct some of the attention that reaches us toward the work of Many Hopes.

Rescue Is the Beginning

Many Hopes works through trusted local partner organizations that understand their communities, their legal systems, their cultures, and the conditions children face.

Rescue

Help children move from danger into safety, care, and stable homes.

Equip

Provide education, healthcare, mentoring, legal support, and the resources needed to thrive.

Launch

Support young adults as they move into higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and independent life.

Many Hopes calls this survivor-driven change: investing in children as people capable of shaping their own lives and, if they choose, changing the conditions around them.

The work was carried out through local partners in Bolivia, Ghana, Guatemala, Kenya, Malawi, and Peru.
