Collector's Walk
Beauty is not observed, it is shared.
The Collector's Walk extends the philosophy of Meraki & Hodo beyond the objects we make and into the places where beauty is first encountered.
The Collector’s Walk is a ritual of witnessing, a passage through time, silence, and resonance. Each edition appears like a comet: luminous, rare, gone.
Each Walk belongs to a single city and a single season, and never returns in quite the same way.
One walk. One city. One chance to be seen.
The Experience
- Each Collector's Walk is individually commissioned, then quietly prepared around the city, the season, and those taking part.
- Duration: 2–5 hours.
- Each Walk is individually composed. It may unfold through a museum, gallery, café, garden, historic site, or wherever beauty is waiting to be noticed.
- Pause before the work: breathe. Let the canvas confess.
- Conversation at café: beauty leaves the frame and enters speech.
- The Keepsake: a handwritten line, sealed in wax, pressed in your hand forever.
- Archive: Summer 2026 Lisbon • Florence • Rome • Vatican City • Cortona • Tuscany • Lucerne • Wengen
- Archive: Autumn/Winter 2025 Lisbon • Milan • Amsterdam • The Hague • Cannes • Nice • Paris
Logistics & Essentials

Timing
- 2–5 hours, depending on how long beauty holds you.
Companions
- Whether shared with one companion or experienced alone, each Walk is shaped around those present.
Keepsakes
- You may wish to carry a journal, for words that can’t be held in memory. A handwritten line is pressed into your hand, sealed in wax.
Attire
- Dress as you wish to be remembered by beauty. Quiet elegance is a language of its own.
Photography
- There is no prescribed way to witness beauty. Some moments ask for a camera, others for silence. Both are welcome.
Curiosity
- No prior knowledge of art is required. Curiosity is enough.
Why It Matters
Art becomes memory when someone witnesses you inside it.
A painting stays alive when it sees you alive.
The Collector’s Walk is a salon in motion, a sacred conversation.
To be seen is itself an act of art.
At the end, you leave with evidence: a handwritten line sealed in wax, pressed into your hand. A keepsake that insists the encounter was permanent.
Collectors do not only keep objects. They keep impressions.
To be met in beauty is to feel recognition rare as breath: someone who understands what you love, and who you became because of it.
